Sophia K
Climate Activist
Sophia Kudriavtsev was involved in the KW activist community while studying at the University of Waterloo. Most of their advocacy work was focused on animal rights and environmental activism; participating in community outreach, protests, and political lobbying. They are the former president of the UW Animal Rights Society; a co-founder of the Ontario Plant Based Student Association; and a former organizer for Kitchener-Waterloo Climate Save, Fridays for Future Waterloo Region, and Extinction Rebellion.
In Fall 2019, Sophia left KW to travel through the United States on a bicycle, and over the course of the journey, developed a passion for cycling and bicycle advocacy. They currently work as a bicycle courrier and as Secretary of the Board for Warmshowers Foundation.
Dr. Sailesh Rao
Climate Healers
Dr. Rao is Founder and Executive Director of Climate Healers, a non-profit dedicated towards healing the Earth’s climate. Since 2006, Dr Sailesh Rao has been immersed in the environmental crises affecting humanity and has been studying how to reverse them and achieve global sustainability from a systems perspective.
He is an Executive Producer of the trilogy of documentaries The Human Experiment (2013), Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret (2014) and What The Health (2017) , which explore the systemic causes of human and environmental ill health. He is also an Executive Producer of “A Prayer for Compassion”.

Sarah brings her 5+ years of teaching and facilitation experience to curate interactive eco-education workshops that never bore. She is deeply passionate about conscious living, sharing resources with her community, and fostering healthy family environments.
Lexi uses her background in business and environmental management to bring new perspectives to our workshops. She believes that achieving a conscious lifestyle starts by making small steps that lead to long-term changes.
